| Rabbit is a left-wing activist and a squatter. And he has a plan. Together with his friends, he wants to expose housing fraud by occupying the house of a local politician. ‘Small Protests’ is just as much the portrait of a young man, who has chosen to live on the limits of society, as it is a film about political protest. The film’s style is almost as radical as Rabbit himself, and traditional narration falls by the wayside in the best punk fashion. The result is a small, intense and original portrait film, which stays close to its protagonist.
